Friends Who Folk is a satirical folk and songwriting duo consisting of Ned Riseley and Rachel Wenitsky. They have been called “razor-sharp satirists” by Time Out New York and “a crazy insanely madly unbelievably inconceivably unthinkably good faux-folk band” by Paste Magazine.

They have played all over the city, at venues such as Ars Nova, Caroline's on Broadway, UCB, The Bell House, and hosting their own a monthly show at Union Hall.

Their videos, which have been featured in The New Yorker, Glamour, Vulture, and elsewhere, can be viewed below.

They contributed a song, "The Little Girl Was Feeling Blue," to an episode of Story Pirates that is nominated for an Ambie Award for Best Fiction Scriptwriting. Listen to the episode here.

They are recording new music.
