I am a seasoned copywriter, with experience in editorial and marketing copywriting, as well as dramatic, and comedic writing. Currently freelancing, I was most recently Senior Copywriter full-time at Thrillist, where I helped to reinvent the voice of the brand, writing a daily national newsletter that went out to 2 million subscribers, often finding the funny and absurd in the mundane and the everyday, generating copy for editorial tentpoles, events and live experiences, crafting a new tagline for the brand, generating inviting and playful video copy, creating tone and voice guides, generating social media captions, and more. I worked closely with the creative director, art director, graphic designers, editors, and writers to clarify vision and breathe life into various initiatives. I am adept at succinctly expressing ideas and building an immersive and polished linguistic world, specific to each project. As a newsletter writer, I pride myself on generating unique, relatable and enticing copy that makes readers think, laugh, keep reading, and look forward to opening up their emails, the greatest miracle of all. My work has generated positive feedback as well as engagement, always honing the perspective and image of the brand in constructive, substantive ways.
My creative background in playwriting and comedy give my writing a lot of versatility and perspective, a sense of tone and flow, and a unique perspective that can be applied to a variety of projects.

I scripted and helped to concept this video collaboration with Campbell's for a soup competition featuring Lauren Lapkus, Nyesha Arrington, and Brian Malarkey.
